Zurrieq FC Futsal presented with the TGS Malta Fair Play Award

Following the official launch of the Malta Fair Play Movement, the Standing Committee formed by Joe Borg Cardona, Kevin J Azzopardi, Pierre Cassar, Dr Adele Muscat and chaired by Charles Camenzuli, have announced the first TGS Malta Fair Play Award in conjunction with the Malta Sports Journalists Association and sponsored by Together Gaming Solutions. Zurrieq FC Futsal have been awarded the first award covering the January - March 2021 period. The act of sportsmanship by Zurrieq FC Futsal occurred in the league match held on the 23rd of January 2021 against St. George’s, after they allowed the opponents to score to compensate for a goal they had scored when one of St. George’s was injured on field of play. Zurrieq FC Futsal irċevew it-TGS Malta Fair Play Award

Wara t-tnedija uffiċjali tal-Malta Fair Play Movement, l-iStanding Committee iffurmat minn Joe Borg Cardona, Kevin J Azzopardi, Pierre Cassar, Dr Adele Muscat u ċ-Ċermen Charles Camenzuli, ħabbru l-ewwel TGS Malta Fair Play Award b’mod konġunt mal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports u sponsorjat minn Together Gaming Solutions. Zurrieq FC Futsal ġew mogħtija l-ewwel premju għall-perjodu bejn Jannar u Marzu tas-sena 2021. Il-ġest altuwistiku min-naħa ta’ Zurrieq FC Futsal seħħ waqt logħba tal-kampjonat tal-futsal lokali fit-23 ta’ Jannar 2021 kontra St. George’s, wara li ħallew lill-avversarji jiskurjaw biex jikkompensaw għall-gowl li skorjaw waqt li plejer ta’ St. George’s kien imweġġa’ fil-court. Hemm ukoll vidjow fuq il-midja soċjali li jiddokumenta dan il-ġest. Jeremy Zammit rebbieħ tal-Atlas Atleta Żagħżugħ tax-Xahar għal April

L-Atleta ta' Pembroke Athleta Jeremy Zammit ingħata l-unur tal-Atlas Atleta Żagħżugħ tax-Xahar għal April. Zammit kiseb il-midalja tad-deheb fil-kategorija ta' taħt it-18-il sena fit-tielet edizzjoni tal-EAP International Meeting li sar f'Katanja, ix-xahar li għadda. Jeremy Zammit bil-qabża tiegħu ta' 7.14m mhux biss assiguratlu l-midalja tad-deheb fil-long jump imma bħala Malti poġġietu mal-aqwa għaxra tal-età tiegħu fid-dinja, għal din is-sena. Total ta' 28 atleta Malti minn 10 klabbs differenti ħadu sehem f'dan l-avveniment internazzjonali, li kisbu14-il midalja fejn sitta minnhom kienu tad-deheb. Jeremy Zammit claims the Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month award for April

Pembroke Athleta's up and coming track and field athlete Jeremy Zammit has been awarded the Atlas Youth Athlete of the month Award for April. Zammit secured the U18 category gold medal at the 3rd edition of the EAP International meeting which was held in Catania last month. ​ It was a remarkable experience for Jeremy Zammit whose 7.14m jump secured him not only the gold medal in the long jump event but also a Maltese age category record (U18) and subsequently placing him among the best ten leading jumps globally for his age group this year. A total of 28 Maltese athletes representing no less than 10 different clubs participated in this international meeting in which the Maltese athletes claimed no less than 14 medals, six of which were gold.
