Valletta IZIBET jirbħu t-Tazza tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports 2023

It-Team ta' Valletta IZIBET rebaħ it-Tazza tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports 2023 organizzata mill-Assoċjazzjoni tal-Isport Akkwatiku ta’ Malta. Il-Finali tat-Tazza GħĠS din is-sena kienet kkontestata bejn iż-żewġ protagonisti ewlenin tal-Ewwel Diviżjoni tas-sena 2022; Marsaskala ESC u Valletta IZIBET, b'dawn tal-aħħar joħorġu rebbieħa f’taqtigħa ħarxa fejn Valletta IZIBET għelbu lill-Marsaskala ESC bl-iskor ta’ 9-8. Din il-finali serviet bħala ftuħ mill-isbaħ għall-Kampjonat Nazzjonali tas-Sajf 2023. Fost il-plejers ta’ Valletta IZIBET, kien hemm iż-żewġ plejers barranin ġodda, Andrija Vlahovic u Ivan Nagaev. Min-naħa l-oħra, għal Marsaskala ESC iddebuttaw iż-żewġ plejers barranin ġodda tagħhom, Benco Batori u Ferenc Salamon. Wara l-partita, l-President tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports, Sandro Micallef ippreżenta t-Tazza tal-GħĠS 2023 lill-captain ta’ Valletta IZIBET, Daniel Paolella. L-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports tawgura lil Valletta IZIBET għal dan is-suċċess miksub u tawgura wkoll lil San Giljan JP Projects li rebħu t-Tazza tal-President 2023 meta fil-finali rebħu kontra Sliema Frank Salt logħba li ntlagħbet lbieraħ wkol fil-Pixxina Nazzjonali f’Tal-Qroqq. Valletta IZIBET claim 2023 GħĠS Water Polo Cup

8th June 2023 Valletta IZIBET claimed the 2023 GħĠS Cup in a seasonal Water polo opener final organised by the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta. The GħĠS Cup final (Malta Sports Journalists Association Cup) was contested this year by the two main protagonists of last year’s First Division namely Marsaskala ESC and Valletta IZIBET. It was the latter who came out victorious in a nail-biting finale whereby Valletta IZIBET trailed 9-8 against Marsaskala ESC for what proved to be a grand opener for the 2023 Summer National League. Valletta IZIBET had amongst their ranks their two new foreign players namely Andrija Vlahovic and Ivan Nagaev whilst Marsaskala ESC on the other hand also gave the debut to their two new foreign recruits Bence Batori and Ferenc Salamon. GSSE 2023 Day 5: Team Malta gets hold of 25 Gold medals

GSSE 2023 - Day 5 Recap We're gripped with Gold Fever! Malta's sporting fans and the general public are living a dream that has surpassed our wildest expectations. Our athletes are performing like never before and the crowds are rejoicing. On Day 5 we saw packed stands everyone eager to shout Malta Malta!! As we reached the last day of competition, we still have more medals to win - The athletes need your support - don't let them down! We are now with 25 Gold medals which is the same amount that Cyprus has but as far as totals go we are still behind them in 2nd place as then have 3 more Silver and 3 more Bronze than us. We have several athletes that have won more than one medal and topping the list is Georgia Kate Bohl with 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. Day 5 medal [...]
