Launch of the 60th Edition of SportMalta Awards – L-Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali

Clifton Grima admits that there is a growing need of putting sport as an integral part of our education system if we are to inject a sporting culture in Malta. The Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sport was speaking during the launch of the SportMalta Awards Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali which this year are celebrating 60 years from their foundation. Imnedija s-60 edizzjoni ta’ SportMalta Awards – Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali

Fit-22 ta’ Frar SportMalta flimkien mal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports se jorganizzaw is-60 edizzjoni ta’ SportMalta Awards – Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali. L-edizzjoni ta’ din is-sena se tkun waħda speċjali għaliex hija s-60 edizzjoni mill-ewwel edizzjoni li kienet imnedija mill-mibki ġurnalist tal-isport Benny Pace. Is-Segretarju Parlamentari Għaż-Żgħażagħ, l-Isport u l-Volontarjat Clifton Grima qal li permezz ta’ dan l-avveniment annwali ikunu jistgħu jiġu apprezzati s-suċċessi miksuba matul is-sena. Atlas Insurance teams up with the Malta Sports Journalists Association to award young sports achievers

Atlas Insurance, one of Malta’s leading insurance firms, has teamed up with the Malta Sports Journalists Association (MSJA), known also as the Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports, to launch the ‘The Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month’ award. The aims of this monthly award are varied. First and foremost, the award is intended for those athletes up to the age of 21 who have distinguished themselves in sports achievements both in terms of sporting results in Malta or abroad, as well as adherence to the sporting values. Sports disciplines associated with this award can be varied, and all sports – both individual and team-based will be considered for this award. Maltese Photographer Domenic Aquilina made it in top 10 Photographers in AIPS Media Awards

With less than one month left to the celebration of world's sport media excellence, AIPS is proud to announce the names of the top ten journalists who competed in the two Photography category of the AIPS Sport Media Awards: Portfolio and Sport Action. The chosen journalists passed a strict selection and will be the roster of the potential finalists, expecting the three names will be unveiled on January 15, 2020.
