Il-Kumitat Eżekuttiv tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports jilqa’ lit-tnax-il żagħżugħ/a li qed jieħdu sehem fl-AIPS Young Reporters Programme, li qed isir bħalissa f’Malta fl-okkażjoni tal-UEFA Under-19 Championships Malta 2023. L-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports tawgura lill-parteċipanti kull suċċess f’dan il-kors kif ukoll btala pjaċevoli fi gżiritna. L-AIPS Young Reporters Programme, bla dubju huwa opportunità kbira għal dawk il-ġurnalisti żgħażagħ li jkunu jixtiequ gradwalment jidħlu fl-industrija tal-ġurnaliżmu sportiv. L-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports hija rrappreżentata fl-AIPS Young Reporters Programme miż-żagħżugħ Ryan Cauchi, li t-tir tiegħu huwa li jsir ġurnalist sportiv u li huwa wieħed mill-parteċipanti f’dan il-programm. The Executive Committee of the Malta Sports Journalist Association welcomes the twelve young people who have embarked on the AIPS Young Reporters Programme, which is currently being staged in Malta on the occasion of the UEFA Under-19 Championships Malta 2023. The Malta Sports Journalists Association wishes all the participants success in undertaking this immersion course and a pleasant stay on our island. The AIPS Young Reporters Programme is undoubtedly a great opportunity for aspiring young sports reporters to gradually enter the sports media industry. The Malta Sports Journalists Association is also represented in the AIPS Young Reporters Programme by young, upcoming sports reporter Ryan Cauchi, who has been identified to participate in this programme. L-għawwiema Olimpika Sasha Gatt ingħatat l-unur tal-Atlas Atleta Żagħżugħa tax-Xahar għal Mejju. Għal Gatt din mhijiex l-ewwel darba li qed tirċievi dan il-premju, hekk kif kienet ir-rebbieħa f’Awissu 2020 u f’Ġunju 2021. Fil-Logħob tal-Pajjiżi z-Zgħar tal-Ewropa 2023 (GSSE 2023), hija rebħet tliet midalji fl-ewwel jumejn ta’ dawn il-logħbiet. Fil-fatt hija rebħet midalja tal-fidda fit-800 metru Freestyle tan-Nisa u bronż fl-400 metru Freestyle tan-Nisa. F’dawn iż-żewġ kompetizzjonijiet hija ġiet wara l-għawwiema minn San Marino Adrianna Valloni. Gatt rebħet ukoll il-midalja tal-fidda fil-Women’s 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay. It-trofew tal-Atlas Atleta Żagħżugħa tax-Xahar għal Mejju 2023 flimkien mal-vawċer t’abbiljament sportiv abbinat ma' dan il-premju ġew ippreżentati lil Sasha Gatt minn Robert Micallef, Chief Commercial Officer u David Cassar, Business Development and Marketing Manager ta’ Atlas Insurance. F’isem l-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports kien hemm preżenti s-Segretarju Ġenerali Lorraine Cunningham. Olympic swimmer Sasha Gatt has been awarded the Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month Award for the month of May. She’s a familiar face for this award, which she already won in August 2020 and June 2021. In the Games of Small States of Europe 2023, Sasha Gatt won three medals in the first two days of the games. She won a silver medal in the Women’s 800m Freestyle and a bronze medal in the Women’s 400m Freestyle, finishing just behind the swimmer from San Marino, Arianna Valloni in both competitions. She was also part of the Women's team which achieved a silver medal in the 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay. The trophy for the May 2023 Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month together with the sports apparel voucher were presented to Sasha Gatt by Robert Micallef, Chief Commercial Officer, and David Cassar, Business Development and Marketing Manager of [...]
