Representatives from the sports journalists’ associations of Cyprus, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro and San Marino officially met in Lausanne on Wednesday 23 January 2019, during the AIPS Congress, with the topic of the meeting the bi-annual Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE) and the creation of a working group of the respective journalist associations. In the meeting, which took place in the Olympic capital under the auspices of AIPS Europe, with president Charles Camenzuli present, the representatives of the journalist associations agreed to a series of proposals they will put forward to the upcoming hosts of the Games and the nine National Olympic Committees (NOC’s) which are in charge of organizing the event. Representatives from Cyprus, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro and San Marino gathered in the Swiss Olympic capital to officially set-up the group. The other missing media representatives who were not present in Luasanne have also given the thumbs up for this initiative. A series of proposals were drawn up to send to Games organisers and the National Olympic Committees in the host countries. These include the introduction of a young journalists' programme and prerequisites regarding internet access, transport, accommodation and media dining. The organisation of the Main Press Centre and venue media centres, as well as assistance provided to photographers and camera staff, were also included in the proposals. The Presidency of the working group will be passed around using a rotational basis, as with the GSSE hosts. F'Lausanne l-Iżvizzera bejn it-22 u l-24 ta' Jannar sar it-82 Kungress tal-AIPS (Association Internationale de la Press Sportiv) li laqqa' l-Media sportiva kollha ta' madwar id-Dinja f'dan il-kungress li jsur kull sena.   F'dan il-kungress għall-ewwel darba twaqqaf Kumitat tal-Media Sportiva li tirrapreżenta l-Pajjiżi li jieħdu sehem fil-Logħob tal-Pajjiżi ż-Żgħar tal-Ewropa. Din l-ewwel laqgħa kienet ippreseduta minn Charles Camenzuli President tal-AIPS Euorope u li fiha ġew maħtura bħala Chairman Todor Brajkovic mill-Montenegro u Erodotos Militiadous minn Ċipru bħala Segretarju Eżekuttiv. Fil-laqgħa ġie deċiż li l-kariga ta' Chairman ta' dan il-kumitat iddur kull sentejn u għandha tingħata lill-ġurnalist li jirrapreżenta l-pajjiż fejn se jkunu qed isiru l-Logħob kull sentejn.   Dan il-kumitat se jaħdem b'kollaborazzjioni sħiħa mal-Kumitati Olimpiċi ta' Andorra, Ċipru, Iżlanda, Liechtenstein, Lussemburgu, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro u San Marino sabiex jiżgura li l-faċilitajiet fejn jintlagħb il-logħob ikunu aċċessibli għall-media u jilħqu l-ħtiġijiet tal-media moderna.
