Jintemm it-78 Kungress tal-AIPS – Diskussi l-Match fixing u drittijiet tar-Radju

L-Erbgħa ġie fi tmiemu t-78 Kungress tal-AIPS li kien qed isir f’Pariġi fi Franza. Fost diversi temi li ġew diskussi kien hemm il-problema tal-match fixing problema reali imxerrda madwar id-Dinja sportiva. Fuq dan is-suġġett indirizza lit-303 delegat preżenti waqt dan il-Kungress Younes El Machrafi s-Segretarju tal-Global Lottery Monitoring System u membru tal-World Lotteries Association. Waqt il-kungress ġiet diskussa wkoll is-sitwzzjoni tad-drittijiet tar-Radju u televizjoni fejn diversi assoċjazzjonijiet u organizzaturi ta’ attivitajiet sportiv qed jitolbu ħlasijiet esaġerati lill-ġurnalisti sabiex dawn ikunu jistgħu jingħataw akkreditazzjoni u jxandru dirett fuq il-mezzi tal-media rispettivi u kummenti saħansitra minn ‘mixed zones’. Sussegwentament l-AIPS Europe ippreżentat tlett petizzjonijiet lil tlett kumitati fi ħdan il-Kummissjoni Ewropeja li kienu ndirizzati lill-kumitati tal-Public Liberty, Internal Market u Sport and Culture. Eventwalment żewġ kumitati m’aċettawx il-petizzjoni u qed issir ħidma sabiex din il-petizzjoni tasal fl-għola istituzzjonijiet ewropej u tinstab soluzzjoni immedjata. […]

AIPS 78th Congress kicks off in Paris

Just meters away from the Grand Auditorium of the Louvre, where the opening of the AIPS Congress in Paris was set to begin in a few hours, the Executive Committee of AIPS met to cover the association’s most crucial issues. Milestone congress AIPS President Gianni Merlo spoke with pride about how the Congress was organized in such short notice, and on such a high level. “After the unfortunate situation in which Montevideo and the Sports Journalists Association of Uruguay had to pull out of hosting the congress, we managed to do something incredible in less than two months, in Paris no less, the city where our association was born. It-Tnejn filgħaxija f’Pariġi eżattament ġewwa l-ikona Franċiża tal-Mużew tal-Louvre saret iċ-ċerimonja tal-ftuħ tal-Kungress tas-sena 2015 tal-AIPS l-entita’ u l-istituzzjoni internazzjonali tal-ġurnalisti tal-lsport madwar id-Dinja. Għaċ-ċerimonja tal-ftuħ kienu preżenti l-Ministru tal-Isport Franċiż Thierry Braillard, il-Preseident tal-AIPS Gianni Merlo u l-President tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sport Franċiżi Jean Marc Michel fost l-oħrajn. Executive Committee meets Opposition speaker on Sports

A Courtesy Visit and Meeting was recently held with the PN’s Opposition Spokesperson Hon David Agius. The meeting was held on 13.02.15 by the Executive Committee of the Malta Sports Journalists Association. Hon Agius was accompanied by Mr Robbie Ebejer TimSport PN Chairman and by prospective PN Candidate Alan Abela Wedge. The two parties discussed several matters related directly and indirectly with sports journalism. The Executive Committee representation of the Malta Sports Journalsits Association was led by Mr President Charles Camenzuli and Vice President Mario Bonnici representing Media.link Communications and One Productions respectively.
