A very informative session about Photo Journalism thanks to Timmy Cutugno with the National Sports Students Year 10.
Timmy discussed topics such;
a) What intellectual property means in sports media.
b) Why photographers own the rights to their images.
c) How to respectfully approach photographers.
d) The difference between fair use and purchasing images.
e)How proper credit and collaboration benefits both athletes and media professionals.
More educational initiatives will be organised by the MSJA.
