Weightlifter Rylee Borg is the November winner of the Atlas Youth Athletes of the Month Award for the Local category, following an outstanding performance during the
National Championships, where he won the Under 20 category and set three national records. Borg’s latest success continues a strong season, which also saw him finish fourth in the European Junior Championships in the 88 kg category, held in Albania.

For the Foreign category in November, karting driver Kimi Bugeja is recognised after being crowned overall winner in the GR3 Under 10 category during the Campionato Karting Sicilia.

The Atlas Youth Athletes of the Month Award was presented by the Chief Commercial Officer of Atlas Insurance Robert Micallef. The Malta Sports Journalists Association was represented by President Antvin Monseigneur and Chris Francalanza.

This award is a joint initiative of the Malta Sports Journalists Association and Atlas Insurance. The adjudicating panel takes note of all youth achievements in the month under review and invites local sport associations and federations to submit nominations where they believe any under twenty-one athletes have distinguished themselves. All monthly winners become eligible for the annual award.
