Paul Cachia appointed Vice President of the Malta Sports Journalists Association

The Malta Sports Journalists Association (MSJA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Cachia as Vice President of the Association. The decision was taken during the first meeting of the newly elected Executive Committee, held yesterday.

Cachia, who obtained the highest number of votes during last week’s Annual General Meeting election, brings with him more than 30 years of experience in sports journalism. He is a regular sports journalist with Times of Malta and forms part of the pool of commentators covering Malta Premier League matches.

In his new role, Cachia will support the President and the Executive Committee in their efforts to strengthen the Association’s work, promote ethical sports reporting, and continue building strong relationships within the sporting community.

MSJA extends its congratulations to Paul Cachia and looks forward to benefitting from his expertise and dedication.

Paul Cachia jinħatar Viċi President tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sport

L-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sport (GħĠS) bi pjaċir tħabbar il-ħatra ta’ Paul Cachia bħala l-Viċi President tagħha. Dan wara li kien hemm qbil unanimu mill-membri kollha eletti tal-Kumitat Ezekuttiv waqt l-ewwel laqgħa li saret ilbieraħ.

Cachia li ġab l-aktar ammont ta’ voti mill-membri preżenti waqt il-Laqgħa Annwali Ġenerali li saret il-ġimgħa l-oħra, għandu warajh 30 sena esperjenza fil-ġurnaliżmu sportiv. Huwa jikteb regolarment fit-Times of Malta u huwa wieħed mill-kummentaturi tal-logħbiet tal-Malta Premier League.

Fl-irwol ġdid tiegħu, Cachia se jkun qed jassisti lill-President u lill-Kumitat Eżekuttiv sabiex tissaħħaħ il-ħidma tal-Għaqda, iġib il-quddiem l-etika fil-ġurnaliżmu sportiv u jsaħħaħ ir-relazzjonijiet fi ħdan il-komunità sportiva.

L-GħĠS tawgura lil Paul Cachia u tħares ‘il quddiem sabiex tgawdi mill-esperjenza u d-dedikazzjoni li għandu x’joffri.
