Malta SJA  to organise seminar totally dedicated to Women in Sport Media

The Malta Sports Journalists Association (MSJA) is proud to confirm that it will be organising a seminar entitled 'Training Women Sports Journalists and Reporters to work more at ease in the Sports Media Industry'. This seminar will be held on Saturday, 21st October 2023.

The main aims of this seminar will be to try and attract more women to become part of the sports media industry and to help aspiring sports journalists to work more comfortably in the sports media environment.

Top local women sports journalists and women involved in sports will be sharing their experience in this first ever seminar of its kind being organised in Malta.

International speakers include Zsuzsa Csisztu. Zsuzsa Csisztu is a renowned Sports Journalist from Hungary and a leading author of 'Mandiner' and a regular host presenter of 'Spiler Sports' TV channel. She is also a lawyer specializing in sports and also holds the position of Executive Member in the Hungarian Olympic Committee. Currently she also holds the position as Vice-President of the Hungarian Sports Journalists Association and Member of the Advisory Board of the Hungarian Olympic Academy. She is also one of the Vice Presidents of AIPS.

The other speaker is Francesca Benvenuti, sports presenter, and reporter from SportMediaset.

This seminar is being funded by the Training Initiative Scheme managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector and supported by the Ministry for Inclusion, Voluntary Organisations and Consumer Rights.

The seminar is open for all those with interest in the subject, however individuals willing to attend need to register their interest via email on info@maltasportsjournalists.com by 12th October 2023.

L-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports b’seminar immirat għan-nisa fil-midja sportiva

L-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports (GħĠS) bi pjaċir tikkonferma li se tkun qed torganizza seminar li se jsir nhar is-Sibt, 21 ta’ Ottubru 2023 bl-isem 'Training Women Sports Journalists / Reporters to work more at ease in the Sports Media industry’.

L-għanijiet prinċipali ta’ dan is-seminar huma aktar nisa jitħajjru jidħlu fl-industrija tal-midja sportiva kif ukoll jgħin lil dawk in-nisa li qed jaspiraw li jkunu ġurnalisti sportivi sabiex jaħdmu f’ambjent aktar komdu.

Uħud mill-aqwa ġurnalisti sportivi nisa Maltin flimkien ma diversi nisa Maltin oħra nvoluti fl-isport lokali se jkunu qed jaqsmu l-esperjenzi tagħhom f'dan is-semimar li hu l-ewwel wieħed tax-xorta tiegħu li qatt ġie organizzat f'pajjiżna dedikat għal dan is-suġġett.

Fost il-kelliema barranin hemm Zsuzsa Csisztu li hija ġurnalista sportiva famuża fl-Ungerija, tikteb regolarment fuq 'Mandiner' u hija wkoll prezentattriċi regolari fuq l-istazzjon televiżiv 'Spiler Sports'. Csisztu hija wkoll avukat li tispeċjalizza fl-isport u tokkupa l-kariga ta' Membru Eżekuttiv fil-Kumitat Olimpiku Ungeriż. Fil-preżent hija l-Viċi President tal-Għaqda tal-Ġurnalisti Sportivi fl-Ungerija u Viċi President tal-AIPS, li hija l-assoċjazzjoni internazzjonali tal-ġurnalisti sportivi. Csisztu hija wkoll Membru fl-Advisory Board tal-Hungarian Olympic Academy.

Il-kelliema barranija l-oħra hija Francesca Benvenuti li hija preżentattriċi sportiva u reporter għal SportMediaset.

Dan is-seminar seta’ jsir bil-fondi tat-Training Initiative Scheme, li l-GħĠS irċeviet mingħand il-Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector, fi ħdan il-Ministeru għall-Inkużjoni, Għaqdiet Volontarji u Drittijiet tal-Konsumatur.
