The Executive Committee of the Malta Sports Journalists Association together with all its members pay tribute to Charles Mock, who passed away earlier today at the age of 85 years.

Charles Mock played water polo for various years and coached various clubs in Malta. He was a member of the Malta Sports Journalists Association for many years, as he was very keen on sports journalism. In the past, Charles Mock worked in the media sector with different stations, mainly radio stations, where he covered not only water polo but also local and international football.

The Malta Sports Journalists Association Sends its condolences to Charles Mock’s family. Further details about the funeral will be announced by Mock’s family at a later stage.

Il-membri kollha tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sport flimkien mal-Eżekuttiv isellmu l-memorja ta’ Charles Mock li ħalla din id-dinja aktar kmieni llum, fl-età ta’ 85 sena.

Charles Mock kien eks plejer tal-water polo għal diversi snin u anki kowċ f’dan l-isport, fejn mexxa diversi klabbs f’Malta. Hu kien membru wkoll tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sport għal diversi snini, hekk kif kellu interess kbir fil-ġurnaliżmu sportiv. Fil-passat Charles Mock ħadem fil-midja ma’ diversi stazzjonijiet, fosthom tar-radju fejn kien jirraporta mhux biss il-waterpolo imma anki l-futbol lokali u internazzjonali.
