Information session held with Devis Mangia

Various sports journalists who follow the BOV Premier League and the Maltese National Teams had an informal meeting with National Head Coach Devis Mangia, in which he gave an update of the ongoing work within the Malta FA's technical centre.

The Malta Sports Journalists Association (MSJA) accepted the invitation from the Malta FA Communications Office and participated in this session where Devis Mangia in his capacity of National Coach and Head of the Technical Centre, presented his vision and planned projects. Coach Mangia is responsible of all the MFA national teams from the U15 category all the way up to the men's senior team.

Mangia explained the professional technical and scientific level of preparation carried out by all the national teams. This, he explained is being done by using a new platform in which the MFA has invested in where all the coaches have the necessary updated data and other relevant scientific details on each and every player.

The journalists present had the opportunity to raise their views about the current situation of football in Malta. MSJA was represented by President Sandro Micallef, General Secretary Lorraine Cunningham, Executive Members Stephen Azzopardi, Robert Busuttil, Antvin Monseigneur, Domenic Aquilina, Mark Muscat and members Riccardo Flask, Joanna Camilleri, Charles Vella, Gianluca Lia, Josef Galdes and Raffaela Colacecchi. Antoine Busuttil and Cristian Muscat also attended the session.

At the end of the informative meeting MSJA President Sandro Micallef presented a memento to Devis Mangia.

Diversi ġurnalisti sportivi li jsegwu l-kampjonat BOV Premier u t-timijiet Nazzjonali Maltin kellhom laqgħa informali mal-kowċ Nazzjonali Devis Mangia fejn fiha ingħatat informazzjoni utli ta’ dak li qed iseħħ fiċ-ċentru tekniku tal-MFA.

L-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports (GħĠS) aċċettat l-istedina tad-dipartiment tal-Kummunikazzjoni tal-MFA u ħadet sehem f'din il-laqgħa li fiha ġiet ippreżentata l-ħidma u l-viżjoni ta’ Devis Mangia bħala kowċ tat-tim Nazzjonali u bħala Direttur tekniku tat-tims Nazzjonali kollha min dak ta’ taħt il-15 -il sena ‘l fuq.

Fil-laqgħa Mangia spjega kif il-livell ta’ preparazzjoni tat-timijiet nazzjonali kollha qed isir fuq livell professjonali mhux biss mil-lat tekniku iżda anke mil-lat xjentifiku fejn bi pjattaforma ġdida li investit fiha l-MFA sabiex il-kowċis kollha għandhom l-aħħar data u kull dettall ieħor li jirrigwardja l-plejers.

Il-laqgħa kellha diversi interventi mill-ġurnalisti li taw l-opinjoni tagħhom dwar is-sitwazzjoni tal-futbol f’Malta. Għal din il-laqgħa flimkien mal-President Sandro Micallef, is-Segretarju Ġenerali Lorraine Cunningham u l-membri mill-Eżekuttiv Stephen Azzopardi, Robert Busuttil, Antvin Monseigneur, Domenic Aquilina u Mark Muscat, ħadu sehem diversi ġurnalisti li jsegwu l-futbol lokali. Dawn huma: Antoine Busuttil, Cristian Muscat u l-membri tal-ĠħĠS Riccardo Flask, Joanna Camilleri, Charles Vella, Gianluca Lia, Josef Galdes u Raffaela Colacecchi.
