The Malta Sports Journalists Association compliments with great satisfaction the result of Malta’s trap shooter Brian Galea for the outstanding result at the Commonwealth Games 2018 in Gold Coast Australia when he managed to win a bronze medal in his discipline.

The success that Galea managed to secure was not a coincidence but was a result that summed up a lot of sacrifices, hard work and intense training. This was also the result of a very well organized association i.e. the MSSF. Regardless all the limitations that the Association passed through the same organization managed to keep the standards high and kept the professionalism throughout the years.  A well-deserved achievement also to the Malta Olympic Committee members for giving the right and ideal tools to the athletes in order to be elite or professional in their Sport so as to get better results in international competitions.

This was the fourth medal won for Malta in the history of the Commonwealth games after 2 bronze medals were won in the past by Double trap shooters William Chetcuti and a silver medal won by Rebecca Madyson.
